Where will the great heron land and the bullfrog croak?

The bog – after the desert – is the least desirable property for the landowner, even though the perpetually murky, moist, dark soil of the bog is home to more life than the hillside or plain. The landowner seeks a way to drain the bog so that it might be made useful for him; another spot for a concrete slab, an outbuilding or another road to someplace else. He will not sleep until the bog is drained of the last drop of water and the last clump of moss removed. But where will the great heron land and the bullfrog croak when the bog is destroyed?
